A young man has been found stabbed to death in the driveway of a western Sydney home.

The victim, believe to be in his early 20s, was reportedly found by the owners of the Bossley Park home shortly before 11.30pm on Saturday.

Police were called to Bossley Park around 11pm, responding to reports that a man was running around the streets. On arrival, they could not find the reported man.

A short time later the victim's body was found. Police have reached no conclusions but said the two incidents could be related. The death is being treated as suspicious.

It is understood the victim was not known to the Garnet Street home owners.

Police are in the process of notifying the man's family members, however he is yet to be formally identified, a police spokesman said.

Detectives have established a crime scene, and local police and the homocide squad are continuing their investigations.
